Welcome to Hurst Impressions Photography. We are Lee and Jane, a married couple of nineteen years and full time Hampshire, Dorset, Isle of Wight and surrounding areas Wedding Photographers specialising in wedding and portrait photography. It is a real privilege to be in the position of making people happy through our passion of photography. We have a truly loving relationship and are fortunate enough to be best friends, so working together is an absolute dream come true which we feel is reflected in our work. Together we make the ideal photography team, we have a unique style and approach that combines a methodical and technical eye for detail and composition, with the emotional awareness, flair and artistry needed to really capture those natural, real and honest moments shared between family and friends.

There is a real advantage to always having two photographers covering your day. We are able to photograph the wedding day build-up and preparations of both partners, position ourselves to capture your ceremony from a variety of angles and ensure that throughout the day and evening those special, emotive and humorous moments do not escape us. We truly immerse ourselves in your day, having fun with you and your guests, helping, supporting and counselling throughout as well as joining you on the dance floor to capture the entertainment first hand. Nothing is too much trouble.

We genuinely love meeting new people, the process of getting to know our couples is an important characteristic of our approach to photographing a wedding or portrait session. Your wedding day isn’t just about who you are on that day, it’s about who you are as a couple and as individuals. We want to find the things that are uniquely you. It’s great fun to discover how you met, uncover your personalities, your interests, loves, passions, what makes you laugh and those things most important to you. These are key ingredients that define you as a couple and will no doubt be evident throughout your big day. In preparation we will meet you for coffee and a chat as many times as you need, visit the venues together, discuss all the ideas that you might have, share our thoughts and together create a bespoke occasion to cherish, (after all this is your big day).

Lee & Jane are awesome. A great team and a fantastic couple to spend the day with.They made everyone feel awesome, they took photos that made them look even more awesome than they felt!It is great to have a couple that photo the two different routes to church for the bride and groom. Really gives nice context to the photos as well as lots of conversation and memories.They adapted to and embraced the weather and the opportunities or challenges that brought on the day. Some mega sunset photos as a result of that.Lots of natural photos with guests and family groups they had taken time to learn about prior to the wedding.Jane organised the group shots and knew all the different names to call while Lee was perfecting the shots. This really enabled us to get the rest of the wedding on the way nicely after.Super professional but most of all just absolutely excellent humans you want around on your special day.K&Sx

Where do we start, maybe by saying a massive thank you to Lee & Jane for making and capturing our special day for us!You both are wonderful and went beyond capturing and making our wedding beautiful so we can treasure those special moments for years to come. xLee & Jane are very nice and caring people, which really made communicating with them about what we wanted on our wedding a ease. To be fair they did more than I thought a normal photographer will do.They even set out schedule for us and making sure all our family group members photos was taken (we had a lot of family pictures). All our family and guest loved them both, and the candid pictures was captured at its best.The finished products was beautiful, especially the slide video! Show they took time to edit and picked the best photos for the slide. Hurst impressionsWhat can I say? There is too much. If you want mainly natural, candid photos using the natural light mixed with incredible staged shots, this is honestly your go to couple. They are professional, friendly, supportive and flexible. They are hard working and go to almost anything length to make sure the right shot is got and you’re happy. Hired for our wedding photos, we postponed and postponed (thanks covid!) but we were desperate not to change vendors - thankfully we didn’t have too! Lee and Jane even put a photo slideshow together for us with background music which is simply stunning and a USB with all our photos within a beautiful inscribed box. Absolutely no regrets and incredible value for money. We love you both!

Lee and Jane photographed our wedding and they are absolutely amazing! They took time to meet us to discuss the photos, and also meet at the venue to check the lighting and best locations. Well where do I start with these two tremendously amazing people!!! I met Lee and Jane in 2019 as soon as I saw them that was it I was in love.With in seconds of talking to them they made me feel like I’d known them for years. They were and are so welcoming and kind. Lee and Jane filled my heart with excitement and nerves🥰 (good ones)They spoke to me about what I wanted and how I wanted it as being Italian and having lots of traditions and regulations,then marrying a Moroccan and following some rituals from his side we didn’t make it easy for them at all.We was due to get married in October 2020 then covid struck and we had to postpone to 2021. They were more than happy to change the date for us. In the meantime we kept in contact throughout. Lee and Jane felt more like family to us rather than two people just doing there job.Me and my husband both have the traditions of having pre wedding shoots and Lee and Jane went above and beyond to accommodate this taking us to the most beautiful places.After spending quite a bit of time with Lee and Jane we noticed how caring and loving they are towards each other. Exact soul mates! which also made our experience with them both even more magical.Mr and Mrs Hurst took so much time for us from the littlest detail to the biggest one!!After a lot of stress with covid we finally got to have our day. We are so lucky to have found two people like Lee and Jane and I couldn’t recommend them enough!!!If I could go back I’d pick you both all over again.Love Lidia and Abdel xxxx

I honestly cannot recommend Lee and Jane enough. They are so great at what they do and just the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. They guided me through my day with such kindness and I can honestly say I don’t know what I’d have done without them. They made me feel so at ease and they were so lovely to all our guests. I’m so happy with our photos so far and I can’t wait to see the rest! I would recommend Lee and Jane to anyone looking for the perfect photographer. Just perfect and I can’t thank you both enough x

Lee and Jane photographed our wedding at the end of last year and were absolutely fantastic! We didn't have the weather we hoped for (rained all day and evening!) but they had loads of ideas for photographs and how to make the best of our chosen venue (Wortley Hall). My husband is normally very uncomfortable having his photo taken, but Lee and Jane helped him to feel more at ease and relaxed, and he enjoyed some of our more creative shots! Lee and Jane were so much fun to be around, and have created some absolutely stunning images, best wedding photographers ever! 😁🥰

Lee and Jane photographed our wedding for us. We are thrilled we chose them for our day, they helped make everything run smoothly, added significantly to the experience and created a beautiful album for us. Both are lovely people and so easy to get on with so we didn't feel at all uncomfortable. They met us beforehand to talk through everything (driving a long way to meet us!), kept in strong communication through the COVID uncertainty, helped us brilliantly with any questions we had, offered us a fantastic package for a very reasonable price and took fantastic photos!
